Characteristics and uses of hot rolled steel coils
Hot-rolled coils are made from slabs (mainly continuous casting slabs). The hot steel strip coming out of the final rolling mill of finishing rolling is cooled to a set temperature by laminar flow, and then coiled into a steel strip coil by a coiler. The cooled steel coil is subjected to different finishing procedures according to the different needs of users.
