Pre-painted galvanized steel coils can be installed in two ways: penetrating and concealed.
Penetrating fixing is the most common way to install pre-painted galvanized steel coils on roofs and walls, that is, using self-tapping screws or rivets to fix the color plates on supports (such as purlins). Penetrating fixing is divided into crest fixing, trough fixed or their combination.
Concealed buckle fixation is to fix the special concealed buckle matched with the concealed buckle color plate on the support (such as purlin) first, and the fixing method of the female rib of the color plate and the central rib of the concealed buckle is generally used in houses. 1. Lateral and end laps of pre-painted galvanized steel coils
When installing each steel plate, its edge should be lapped accurately on the previous one, and clamped with the previous one until both ends of the steel plate are fixed.
2. Selection of self-tapping screws
When selecting the fixing screws, the fixing parts should be selected according to the service life of the structure, and special attention should be paid to whether the service life of the outer covering material is consistent with the specified fixing parts service life. At the same time, note that the thickness of the purlin should not exceed the self-drilling capability of the screw.
