How to store pre-painted galvanized steel coil products
1. Pre-painted galvanized steel coils should be stored in a dry and ventilated indoor environment to avoid open storage. Condensation is very likely to occur in places with large temperature differences.
2. The pre-painted galvanized steel coil should be stored in a clean and tidy environment to avoid the intrusion of various corrosive media.
3. The ground of the storage site should be flat, free of hard objects and have sufficient load-bearing capacity.
4. Horizontal steel coils should be placed on rubber pads, skids, brackets and other devices, and the strap locks should be facing upwards, and should not be placed directly on the ground or transport tools.
5. In order to avoid pressure injury, steel coils are usually not stored in stacks. When steel coils are stacked and stored, the number of stacking layers should be strictly limited, and the steel coils with large weight and size should be placed below.
6. The mechanical properties and partial coating properties of pre-painted galvanized steel coils, as well as pencil hardness, T-bend value, impact energy value, etc., may change with the extension of storage time. Follow the principle of first-in-first-use when using.
7. There should be enough space in the storage site for lifting equipment.
8. Reasonable arrangements should be made for the storage location of steel plates and coils to facilitate access, and unnecessary movements should be minimized.
9. Absolutely avoid being immersed in water.
10. It is not recommended to store a large amount of products in the factory area with more carbon dioxide, and at the same time, try to shorten the storage period of the products that have been stored.
