How to do the anti-corrosion treatment of quality seamless steel pipe
The quality seamless steel pipe generally used by everyone must be treated with corresponding anti-corrosion and anti-rust treatment. The general anti-corrosion work is divided into three processes, which are explained in detail below:
1.quality seamless steel pipe anti-rust treatment
The surface of the pipeline should be cleaned of oil stains, slag, rust and zinc dust before painting. The product quality standard of shot blasting and derusting is Sa2.5.
2. After the surface layer of the quality seamless steel pipe is coated with anti-rust treatment, the interval should not exceed 8 hours. When the top coat is applied, the reference surface should be dry. Brush the topcoat evenly and smoothly, without clotting or blistering. Brushing is not allowed within the range of 150～250mm on both sides of the tube.
3. After the topcoat is dry, apply the paint and bundle the glass fiber cloth. The interval between the topcoat and the first paint application should not exceed 24 hours.
In the whole process of application, the surface layer of quality seamless steel pipe sometimes encounters conditions that cause transverse cracks. There are many reasons for such conditions. The following is a detailed analysis.
If the deformation of the quality seamless steel pipe is small during the whole process of air-drawing, the inner and outer surface layers will cause extra ground stress due to compression and inner tension. At this time, due to poor deformation and penetration, the development trend of the outer surface layer is larger than that of the inner layer, so it is on the outside. The surface layer causes additional compressive stress, and the inner surface layer causes additional tensile stress. If the extra tensile stress of the inner surface layer is very large, the ground stress and the additional ground stress will be added together during drawing, which will exceed the approved level of the compressive strength of the quality seamless steel pipe, causing the inner surface layer to cause transverse cracks.
Under the corresponding structural mechanics standards, the various factors that reduce the plastic deformation during the production and processing of the quality seamless steel pipe will increase the chance of internal transverse cracking. Therefore, in the production of quality seamless steel pipe, the quenching quality and the removal of alkali embrittlement are very important.
