Related features of cold rolled steel coil
Cold rolling is made of hot-rolled coils as raw materials and rolled at room temperature below the recrystallization temperature. Cold rolled steel coils are steel coils produced through cold rolling processes. The thickness of cold rolled steel coils is generally 0.1-- Between 8.0mm, the thickness of cold rolled steel coil produced by most factories is less than 4.5mm. The thickness and width of cold rolled steel coil are determined according to the equipment capacity of each factory and market demand.

Because it has not been annealed, the cold rolled steel coil has a high hardness (HRB greater than 90) and extremely poor machining performance. It can only be processed with a simple directional bending less than 90 degrees (perpendicular to the coiling direction).
To put it simply, cold rolling is processed and rolled on the basis of hot rolled coils. Generally speaking, it is a process of hot rolling---pickling---cold rolling.
Cold rolled steel coil is processed from hot rolled coils at room temperature. Although the rolling process will heat up the steel plate, it is still called cold rolling. Because of the cold rolled steel coil formed by continuous cold deformation, the mechanical properties are relatively poor and the hardness is too high. It must be annealed to restore its mechanical properties, and those without annealing are called rolled hard coils. Rolled hard coils are generally used to make products that do not need to be bent or stretched.
Cold rolled steel coil belts are widely used, such as automobile manufacturing, electrical products, rolling stock, aviation, precision instruments, food cans, etc. Cold rolled steel coil is the abbreviation of ordinary carbon structural steel cold rolled coil, also called cold rolled plate. Cold rolled steel coil is a hot rolled steel strip of ordinary carbon structural steel, which is further cold rolled into a steel plate with a thickness of less than 4mm. Because rolling at room temperature does not produce iron scale, the cold plate has good surface quality and high dimensional accuracy. Coupled with annealing treatment, its mechanical properties and process properties are better than hot-rolled thin steel coils. In many fields, especially In the field of home appliance manufacturing, it has gradually been used to replace hot-rolled thin steel coils.

Advantages and disadvantages of hot rolled steel
By definition, steel ingots or billets are difficult to deform at room temperature and difficult to process. Generally, they are heated to 1100-1250 °C for rolling.

Characteristics and uses of hot rolled steel coils
Hot-rolled coils are made from slabs (mainly continuous casting slabs). The hot steel strip coming out of the final rolling mill of finishing rolling is cooled to a set temperature by laminar flow, and then coiled into a steel strip coil by a coiler.

Types and uses of hot rolled steel sheets
Hot continuous rolled steel sheet products include steel strips (coils) and steel sheets cut from them. The steel strip (roll) can be divided into straight hair rolls and finishing rolls (split rolls, flat rolls and slit rolls).
