The surface layer causes additional compressive stress, and the inner surface layer causes additional tensile stress. If the extra tensile stress of the inner surface layer is very large, the ground stress and the additional ground stress will be added together during drawing, which will exceed the approved level of the compressive strength of the quality seamless steel pipe, causing the inner surface layer to cause transverse cracks.

Under the corresponding structural mechanics standards, the various factors that reduce the plastic deformation during the production and processing of the quality seamless steel pipe will increase the chance of internal transverse cracking.
