Use and installation of quality lead plate
The quality lead plate will block the radiation emitted by radioactive materials rather than radioactive materials. Therefore, we should first understand the principle of quality lead plate radiation protection:

First, the penetrating power of alpha particles is very weak, and a piece of paper is enough. The quality lead plate can be completely blocked, and the focus of preventing alpha radiation is not eating up or contaminating the skin. The penetrating power of beta rays is moderately strong, and the ordinary quality lead plate can block most of the rays, but usually a barrier layer with a low atomic number is added to protect beta rays when avoiding radiation. The gamma rays produced by α and β have strong penetrating properties. A quality lead plate of a certain thickness can block a certain percentage of the strength. The radioactivity intensity of gamma rays decays exponentially with the thickness of the lead plate. In theory, it cannot be completely prevented.
The precautions for installing the anti-radiation quality lead plate are self-evident:
1. The radiation quality lead plate is a brittle material with a large specific gravity, so please be careful when moving it.
2. During the installation process, the lead glass must be interlaced with the wall protection material to prevent the joint from leaking radiation.
3. Due to the high content of lead and barium in the quality lead plate, the lead glass is susceptible to acid and alkali pollution, and is not susceptible to acid and alkali pollution. Easy to install or store in acid gas or humid environment.
